Stock reporting (Excel or other)

We are a Tree Nursery based in South Africa
We manage quite a big stock list with 65 species in 6 different sizes in 1700 possible locations.
We currently report on our stock using excel spreadsheet (ODBC connection from SQL) and pivot tables
Database/Spreadsheet is now too big (1.4m rows x 20 columns) and pivot table is extremely slow to report/refresh
We need someone to develop a "live" Stock Report using the data. This report will help us manage our current stock as well as be accessible to our customers to check on our availability .
