This is a stock maintain system on excel worksheet. Through this sheet I would like to shoe how we can maintain stock of various trading business or company.
At first I select an work sheet as per my required like sale/purchase =Stock Maintain=Profit & Loss using merge & centre on excel sheet. By using merge centre method applied, total criteria range divided into five parts named like Item details, Purchase, Sale, Stock, and Profit & Loss. Again Item details divided into four parts, Purchase divided into three parts, Sale divided into three parts, Stock divided into two parts and Profit & Loss Portion divided into two parts.
On purchase division Rate multiplied by Quantity to get actual purchase amount, On sale division Rate multiplied by Quantity to get sale amount, On stock division Purchase Quantity of Item minus from sale Quantity of Items to get the Item wise closing stock, for actual Profit & Loss calculation per pcs profit calculated by using selling price (sp) minus cost price/purchase rate (cp) and to calculate actual profit and Loss sale quantity multiplied by per pcs profit.
Formula applied bellow :-
Purchase Division Cell Address E4*F4=G4.
Sale Division Cell Address H4*I4=J4.
Stock Division Cell Address K4=F4-I4 for Stock Quantity.
Cell Address L4=K4*E4 for stock Amount.
Profit & Loss Division Cell Address M4=H4-E4 for per pcs profit
Then N4=I4*M4 for Actual Profit
