Standalone Database program

I am transitioning an old Excel Workbook with approximately 30 worksheets, numerous formulas, macros and vba Code to a standalone program that can be run on windows and Mac, to compete with an already existing program within a moderately sized technical field. The appropriate candidate would have experience building standalone programs, database engineering with multiple relationships, mathematical calculations, reporting and printing functions, as well as Python, Lua, XML knowledge for integration with 3rd party programs. Possible future development of a mobile app to integrate.
