Spreadsheet Automation and Enhancement - Casing Tally System
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I am looking for a freelancer who can help me automate and enhance my personal spreadsheet for a casing tally system. The ideal candidate for this project should have experience in calculations and formulas in spreadsheets.
Specific functions to automate or enhance in the spreadsheet include:
- Automating data entry process
- Creating calculations and formulas for accurate tallying
- Ensuring proper formatting and design for easy readability
The desired outcome of this project is to reduce errors and improve accuracy in the casing tally system. The spreadsheet should be able to provide accurate calculations and minimize human errors.
Key skills and experience required for this project:
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets)
- Strong understanding of calculations and formulas in spreadsheets
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and tallying
- Ability to create user-friendly formatting and design for easy navigation
Additional Information:
The spreadsheet consists of three tabs: "Print (A)," "Measurements (B)," and "Draft Tally."
Joint lengths are measured using a measuring tape or ruler by two different individuals, with cross-checking to ensure accuracy.
The casing joints are numbered with unique identifiers.
The casing standard depth ranges are defined as follows: R1 = 5.49-6.71m, R2 = 8.23-9.14m, R3 = 11.58-13.72m.
In the "Measurements (B)" tab, all joint lengths are subtracted by 0.1m to account for thread and couple overlap.
The engineer manually fixes the tally in the "Draft Tally" tab based on requirements.
The goal is to fully automate the spreadsheet, highlight deviations, eliminate errors, and improve usability.
If you have a proven track record in spreadsheet automation and enhancement, and can help me achieve my goal of reducing errors and improving accuracy in my personal casing tally system, I look forward to hearing from you.
