Solar Project Excel Tracker
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I need a single, well-structured Excel workbook that lets me stay on top of every financial and scheduling detail for an ongoing solar-power construction plan. The sheet has to serve three functions at once:
• Payment tracking – it must capture each invoice number, payment status and payment date, with clear visual cues when something is overdue or partially settled.
• Project-timeline management – a simple Gantt-style view (or other intuitive layout) that maps planned versus actual milestones, automatically updating completion percentages as data is entered.
• Cost analysis – built-in formulas that roll up labour, materials and any change-order costs so I can see variances against budget in real time.
Please keep navigation straightforward: one dashboard for high-level status and separate, clearly labelled tabs for raw data entry. I’d also like drop-downs and data validation to minimise manual errors, plus conditional formatting for quick red-flag spotting. If you can integrate simple pivot charts for spending breakdowns, even better.
When you respond, focus on your experience designing multi-function Excel tools—particularly any work you’ve done for construction or renewable-energy projects. A brief note on how you’d structure the workbook and automate the timeline would help me gauge fit.
Deliver the finished .xlsx file ready for immediate use; no macros are required unless you believe they add essential value and you can explain the benefit.
