2x Small Jobs for Excel Expert, VBA, Find & Replace

I am looking for an Excel expert to assist me with two small excel jobs relating to Find & Replace
Job1:
Require to edit a workbook with vba for finding and replacing words on a list on a worksheet.
Job2:
Require formula to find and replace data in a cell where the symbol "*" exists between characters, and replace with a "x"
There should be no spaces between the "*" .. If there is a space then the "*" should not get replaced
Examples:
1*2
A*B*C
12*89*340cm
The size of the box is 53*64*10cm. Good size for shipping
Change to:
1x2
AxBxC
12x89x340cm
The size of the box is 53x64x10cm. Good size for shipping
Requirements:
Column1 return the characters found containing the *
Column2 return all text in cell with the "*" replaced with x
Your SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with VLOOKUP and INDEX/MATCH formulas
- Experience in working with specific datasets
- Ability to extract specific data using the formulas
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Excel functions and be able to apply the VLOOKUP and INDEX/MATCH formulas to a specific dataset in order to extract the desired data.
