Simple Excel function. Script to run multiple iterations of a sheet and record the data
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a sheet with a simple macro to calculate results, based on a number of input variables combined with a randomized series, and then display the results. I have a button to run the macro once, and only one macro in the sheet. The results I care about are then displayed in 14 cells, F4:S4
I want a simple script/macro to run this simulation repeatedly (I would select the number of times, likely 50-1000, collecting each set of results as a new row on another tab. I'd like a header section on the new tab that is showing me the average for each of these columns, and also displayed in F8:S8 on the first worksheet. There may be a couple other useful analysis to see here Median? Std Dev? (not too worried about that part, and those could be added later in extra time). Main thing is the macro to run this sheet multiple times and display all the runs, plus the summed results on that second sheet, and also F8:S8 on the first worksheet.
Slight twist - most of the inputs will be the same for each of the 50-1000 runs, but there is one cell of information in the output of each run that is a primary piece of information required for calculation of the next run - this is where I get stuck. If you want me to know you have read the job description, please include the word 'carrot' in your offer.
I think this is a very simple job, just would like someone to whip it up for me
A NDA will be required, as will demonstrated competence in spreadsheet models and Excel.
Once done if we work well together, I will want to expand this model with more complex variables and base conditions.
