Search for the foundations in the attached Excel.
Based on the information, complete the entries in the Excel document with the following data:
Name of foundation
Street address
City
Province
Postal Code
Names of directors (found under “staff” on website; separated by semi-colon)
Salutation (using names of directors, create the salutation to appear on a letter, such as “Dear Mr. Smith, Mr. Jones and Ms. Brown.” For men, use “Mr.” for women, use “Ms.” If you cannot determine the gender of a director, Write Dear Mr. Smith, XX Jones and Ms. Brown.”
Email (Emails are not included in the database. Many of these foundations do not have websites. It may be impossible to find email addresses for some. This may require investigation. Search for the name of a director and the address of the foundation and you may discover an email associated with the individual. BONUS: We will pay an additional $1 per accurate email.
Formatting: The website uses ALL CAPS in many instances. Format entries as outlined in the examples already in the Excel document.
When there is more than one director/trustee (there almost always is) list the president (if there is one designated) first and note them in parentheses (President). Alphabetize all names but if there is a President, put them first.
When more than one trustee has the same surname, write the honorific this way: More than one male: “Dear Messrs.” If there is more than one female, write “Dear Mesdames”
