Server Tracking Excel Data Sheet
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I manage an IT team that provisions servers and need to track my team's work status. We use ServiceNow to receive requests for new provisioning. Each request will contain multiple servers, but each server will contain the same information.
Data Sheet Tab:
- I would like to be able to submit new requests into the tracking datasheet via the macro button ('add request'). The macro should create the number rows, as the value in the '# of servers' field. The data in the remaining yellow highlighted cells should be applied to each row. The assigned field may be empty at the time of submission, if left blank then there should be no impact. Server Name will be manually updated. The fields in the data validation tab should be used as selectable options for each field.
- The blue button called Archive should copy all move all cells containing a status of "completed" to the archive tab
Report Tab
- I would like to create a reporting tab, that will allow users to search for a server name, and see all relevant information for the server. The reporting tab should also allow users to search by request number, and show all relevant information, for every server in the request.
