Scrape soccer fixtures from William Hill sports website
Budget: £10 – £400 GBP
Hi, I need a freelancer to scrape fixtures from https://sports.williamhill.com/betting/en-gb/football/matches/competition/today/match-betting. The ideal freelance will have good knowledge of excel, VBA and macros.
1 Create a macro to the scrape the next soccer matches from https://sports.williamhill.com/betting/en-gb/football/matches/competition/today/match-betting and https://sports.ladbrokes.com/sport/football/matches/today
2 Button "Scrape Current Date" will scrape for the current day and convert the day to the date format.
3 Button "Scrape Current Date + Future Dates" will scrape for the current day and all future dates. On the William Hill website it will scrape Toaday, all the other days and Future. On the Ladbrokes website it will scrape Today, Tomorrow and Future and convert to date format.
4 I have supplied a small sample of how it should look, the tables will be much larger than the small sample that I supplied.
5 Create a toggle action on each button, the first action is for a single refresh the second action will be for auto refresh every 30 seconds to subject to how long the data takes to load.
6 All odds to be displayed in decimal odds. A user name and password is required for the Ladbrokes website to enable the odds to be set to decimal odds. To set it to decimal odds, log in go to the top right hand corner and click on the logged in logo. Scroll down to and click on settings and then go to betting settings and there you will see the settings for decimal odds.
7 The settings for decimal odds on the William Hill website will not require any log in details. If you click on odds format which is towards the top right hand side of the page.
8 The top team will be the home team and the bottom team will be the away team.
9 Where the word today Monday Tuesday etc is displayed you will need to convert it to the date format.
10 On the Ladbrokes website unfortunately it does not generate the URL according to the dropdown name selected so you will have to scroll to the required part of the list. The match result settings in the list is the default setting so you should be able to use the URL for this part.
11 On the William Hill website when you scrape the information for the under 2.5 goals, you will scarpae "2.5" from the dropdown list under the heading Market Type and insert it into the O/U column where required. On the Ladbrokes website when you scrape the information for the under 2.5 goals you will scrape "2.5" from the dropdown list and insert it into the O/U column where required.
12 There will be a Macro for 4 different sheets: All, Match_Result BTTS, O_U.
13 Here is all the abbreviations, H = Home, D = Draw, A = Away, BTTS = Both Teams To Score, O/U = Over Under Goals.
Please see screenshots and check that you can access this site from your country. I will send over the template to the successful freelancer.
Thanks
