Residential Structural Calculations Needed
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m looking for a qualified structural engineer who can produce a complete structural-calculation report for a residential building. The job centres on an addition that will tie into the existing house, so I need load paths, connection details, lateral stability checks and all code-compliant calculations documented in a clear, review-ready package.
The focus is the new portion of the home, but please verify how the added loads interact with the original foundation, beams/columns and roof framing. If your analysis flags any other critical elements, include them in the report along with concise recommendations.
I will supply the latest architectural drawings in PDF and DWG plus site measurements as soon as we start. You may use the design software of your choice—STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000, Robot, or an Excel-based method—so long as the final submission contains:
• A signed structural-calculation report (PDF) that local building control will accept
• Annotated structural plans showing member sizes and reinforcing
• A brief cover letter summarising key assumptions, codes and safety factors used
Please indicate your turnaround time and the code you propose to design to (Eurocode, ACI/ASCE, or local equivalent). I’m ready to begin as soon as we confirm scope and schedule.
