Residential BOQ Material Estimator

I have a set of drawings for a new residential build and need a Quantity Surveyor with solid civil engineering know-how to prepare an accurate Bill of Quantities focused solely on material estimation for concrete and cement.

Your task is to extract every concrete-related item—foundations, slabs, columns, beams, stairs, formwork, reinforcement cover allowances—and translate them into a clear, structured BOQ. I’ll handle cost and labour later, so what matters most to me now is the precise quantity take-off, appropriate mix ratios, and realistic wastage factors.

Please base your work on standard measurement conventions, reference any codes you apply, and deliver the final BOQ in an editable Excel sheet with line-by-line descriptions, units, and calculated quantities. If you can flag any design anomalies or opportunities to optimise concrete usage, that insight will be highly valued.
