Replace buttons on existing sheet with VSTO Workbook and action pane functionality

work within an excel template I've created that utilizes buttons to execute a number of macros I've written. Different buttons appear on different sheets.
I've written the formulas within the workbook such that I can replace sheets (typically updates) without formulas breaking, but the buttons all need macros reassigned.
I want to move those buttons to an action pane and reduce clutter on the sheet and eliminate the need to reassign macros to buttons on sheet updates
I want some buttons to be universal (i.e. those that house 'activesheet.calculate') and some to be housed on a panel that is specific to a sheet
