Position Overview: Finance Director will play a vital role in providing comprehensive brokerage and back-office support. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial analysis, client support, and operational management.
Key Responsibilities:
Valuation Services:
• Conduct financial reviews and analyses of tax returns, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets to assess discretionary spending and net cash flows.
• Analyze sales and profitability trends to inform business decisions.
• Evaluate business cash flow for loan eligibility.
• Review and analyze lease documentation.
• Research and verify seller business entities, licensing compliance and UCC filings.
• Provide broker support during seller discussions.
• Offer VIP client support, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and respond to special requests as needed.
Back-Office Support:
• Manage accounting and finance operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee business account management processes.
• Support brokerage partners with necessary resources and information.
• Collaborate with operations staff to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Assist with CRM task management and maintenance.
• Conduct litigation research and reconciliations.
• Respond to ad hoc and special requests from management and team members.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, brokerage services, or related roles.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
