Quick Excel VBA Macro for Data Validation

I'm in need of a VBA expert who can develop a quick and simple Excel application for me. I would like to have a button that triggers the data entry process. Upon clicking the button, the user will be prompted to input a number which should then be validated before being added to a specified cell in the Excel sheet.
Key Requirements:
- Development of a VBA macro that can validate user input before incorporating it into the Excel sheet
- The entered number should be accommodated in a cell of my choice (in this case, A1)
