Freelance Job Opportunity: Product Listing, Barcode Creation & Price Comparison
We are looking for a detail-oriented freelancer to help us with the following tasks:
Scope of Work:
1. Product Listing & Barcode Creation
Compile a list of approximately 1,500 products we stock.
Generate barcodes for each product.
Ensure all product details (name, description, SKU, etc.) are accurately recorded.
2. Catalogue Creation
Create a well-structured product catalogue using an editable format (Excel, Google Sheets, or a preferred design software like InDesign/Canva).
Ensure the catalogue is easy to update and visually appealing.
3. Price Comparison
Manually check and compare the prices of the same products across B&Q, Screwfix, Toolstation, Selco, and Wickes by visiting their websites.
Record the competitor prices in the catalogue next to our pricing to highlight our cost advantage.
Requirements:
Strong research and data entry skills.
Experience with Excel/Google Sheets for product listing.
Ability to create barcodes (via software or online tools).
Basic design knowledge for catalogue formatting.
Attention to detail to ensure pricing accuracy.
Deliverables:
A completed product list with barcodes.
An editable catalogue featuring our product pricing and competitor comparisons.
Budget: Open for negotiation based on experience and turnaround time.
