I'm seeking assistance to process a folder full of PDF documents (invoices, Proof of Delivery, etc.) and summarize the pertinent information in an Excel file.
Here's what I need:
- Invoice details & Proof of Delivery details summarized in the Excel file.
- From the invoices: extraction of the invoice number, invoice date, total amount, and item details.
- From the Proof of Delivery: extraction of the delivery date, recipient name, delivery address, and items.
Your expertise in data processing and Excel, along with any suggestions you may have for tools or methods to streamline this process would be greatly appreciated. Although my background is in Java, I'm open to other programming languages or techniques that you may find more suitable for this task.
