PDF to Excel Automation for Invoices
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I am in need of a freelancer who can help me convert a bulk of my purchase invoices from PDF format to Excel.
- The PDF invoices are all Text-based and thus, the conversion can be automated.
- The original scanned PDF will also be provided if needed.
- The Excel sheet should have the following fields:
- Vendor information, Invoice number, Invoice date, Purchase details (Product Name, Uom, Qty, Rate, VAT, Total)
- I prefer all the invoices to be organized in a single sheet in the Excel file.
Ideal skills for this job include proficiency in data extraction, PDF to Excel automation, and a keen eye for detail when it comes to organizing data. A background in finance or accounting would be a plus, as it will help in ensuring the accuracy of the extracted data.
Automate / Semi-Automate / Manual
I am looking for some one who can automate / Semi automate this task by using python or any other language. however if automation cannot done, I would prefer manual entry.

The budget is for manual entry. if you can automate, the budget can be increased for the correct person.
Continuous.
The job is continuous, once you understand the concept it will be very easy, you will get a regular job over a period of time and payment can be done on monthly basis / based on the task completion.
