Need an Excel Expert for Troubleshooting

I have an Excel sheet that I've used as a customer catalogue for a number of months now. Entry discipline has been well-enforced, and the workbook is consistent and organized.
There are 400 line items, each with class, category, tag, description, mfgr, part number, unique identifier, cost, markup, sell rate, and PHOTOs, etc.
It works well as a catalogue for a customer whose security protocols do not permit them to log into an external system.
This catalouge has performed flawlessly till now (which I guess is how EVERY problem manifests).
Basically, as items are added, and they make their way through the physical system of sourcing, pricing, review, and approval, the catalogue grows. As a final measure, I add one, small photo in a cell in a prescribed column. These are all formatted completely within the confines of a cell, and each photo fits within approx 200 x 200.
The image properties are set to Move and Size with Cells, and the aspect ratio is locked.
Basically, when I want to send the catalogue/ordering worksheet to the client, I copy/paste-special all the cost and markup data, and then eliminate the rows and columns that the client does not need to see.
First, I filter by EVERYTHING EXCEPT the approved status. I delete these, and remove the filter, leaving me with only the 317 approved items.
Then, I remove the columns the client does not need or should not see... internal costing, vendor data, columns with fields that are specific to development, etc.
This leaves me with a client-ready version that has been stripped of extraneous information, has pricing, photos, an order qty field, calculated price extensions at line item, etc.
THE PROBLEM
Now, when I perform any of the editing functions, my photo height to width ratio changes in MOST of the photos but not all. Furthermore, when I filter and remove, the unneeded line items, most of the photos simply disappear.
File size is currently 6MB, and the formatting is pretty tight. It's only formatted to the edge of the data; not the entire 1M+ cell sheet.
I even tried splitting the sheet into two, but it still exhibits the same behavior.
Looking for someone to help with this project. It's not a huge job, but it's important to me.
