Middleware for Excel to FTP Transfer

I need a custom middleware that can receive Excel files via an API, extract specific fields (name, date, quantity, product), convert them into a tab-delimited text format, and drop the file into a vendor's FTP. It should then receive back confirmation from the vendor and send this confirmation back to through the API.

The middleware should also handle errors during the file extraction process. If an error occurs, it should immediately stop the execution and notify me. This is crucial for me to ensure timely resolution of any issues.

Key Requirements:
- Receive Excel files via an API
