Microsoft office 365 excel to word

Hi we carry out onsite inspections using an android tablet. The android tablet has excel installed with a check list of the items we inspect in multiple tables one table for each room.
we populate the table with numbers to indicate OK, repairs, replace, and comments where required.
we save the completed inspection to a desk top with Office 365 where the numbers are changed to ticks and crosses via conditional formatting. The final report is a word document where we copy and paste the tables from excel to the word pages and add pictures and extra text. This is very time consuming and we want to automate the process. So basically what we want is to be able to record our findings on the android tablet and have the results appear in table form with ticks and crosses on our word document report template where we can add photos and extra text if required.
