Microsoft VBA Expert For Excel and PowerPoint Automation Needed
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
We are looking for an Microsoft VBA expert capable of making macros that would automate the creation of routine reports on behalf of our clients. The routine reports are mainly done with Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
This particular job will serve as a test of your VBA abilities, which if are satisfactory will result in future job offers from us on VBA scripting. Future jobs will be offered at $20 for every 10 macro workbook made. The complexity of future jobs will range from easy to moderate (This test job being considered moderate) depending on our clients needs. This is expected to last for 3 to 6 months.
However, we wish to stress that the only motive for this $5 job it to test your abilities.
Instructions for this test job:
▪ Create a macro that would automatically makes the "Amalgam Daily Report.xlsx" as well as the "Presentation.ppt" from the "Data Input.xlsx" file as per the instructions attached.
▪ Your macro should allow the user to choose which date to make the reports for. The "Data Input.xlsx" file includes entries from 1 to 23 September. The user should be able to create the report/presentation showing only data for their selected date, showing data of previous dates as historic and leaving out data of future dates.
▪ I will give you feed back after your initial submission if your automated report differs from the samples, and pin point the changes you need to make. This is to test how fast and how well you can make necessary corrections.
▪ Your final submission will be the Macro Enabled xlsx and ppt files.
The candidate who submits the best program will get the $10, however other candidates who's submissions are satisfactory will be included in "our team" and will receive future job offers from us.
