The Problem
Since you are an outstanding student, many of your peers have been asking you for advice on which job offer to accept
after graduation. You are finding these requests for advice significantly diminish the amount of free time you have. Thus,
in an attempt to minimize the amount of time you spend providing advice to your peers, you have decided to create a
decision support system that will automate the process of evaluating several job options.
Part I: Basic Analysis
At a minimum (see discussion of minimum below), the system must allow the user to evaluate their job choices using
decision analysis and the weighted average decision model. The model should allow for evaluation of a minimum of 3
job alternatives along 3 fundamental objectives (maximizing compensation, maximizing career potential, and most
fulfilling/satisfying work). You may set up your decision system to begin with default values, but it must allow for payoff
table values and outcome likelihoods to be input by the end user.
