I am looking for a freelancer with Beginner level experience with the Interactive Brokers Excel API to assist me with a financial analysis project.
This project is a simple Excel workbook that will allow an end-user to enter a stock ticker into a cell and have it generate a table of fundamental data related to the stock's industry peers (similar to running a basic stock screen for stocks in a particular industry). Essentially, the user inputs the stock symbol into Sheet1, clicks a button, and Excel queries the IB TWS RTD or ActiveX API technologies to pull data for 7 different variables and generate a new worksheet with a table illustrating the data. Skills and Experience:
- Must have experience working with the Interactive Brokers Excel API
- Proficient in Excel and financial analysis
- Strong understanding of financial markets and data analysis
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
