I need a fresh, detail-oriented review of a small batch of mortgage files—no more than ten—focused solely on income verification. You’ll dive into pay stubs, tax returns, and full bank-statement sets to confirm figures, uncover inconsistencies, and ensure each borrower’s qualifying income meets current FNMA/FHLMC standards.
You’ll receive scanned document packs plus my preliminary income worksheets; your task is to validate every number, flag gaps or red flags, and recommend corrective steps where needed. Familiarity with common underwriting tools such as Excel workbooks, Encompass, or similar audit software will help you move quickly.
Deliverables
• An annotated calculation worksheet or PDF showing how you arrived at each income figure
• A concise QC summary for every file, clearly marking pass/fail and any action items
