Help with Spreadsheet - Formula Clean up & Accounting formatting needed
Budget: $250 ā $750 USD
I need help cleaning up formulas in a spreadsheet, we are making aftermarket car / truck add-ons. An understanding of USA accounting principles is required. The add-on is a device which requires a proprietary solution to function. Recurring sales of the solution are a large part of the business and have caused me difficulty. For each class of vehicle there are different consumption rates of the solution based off miles traveled. Today we are not planning on building a manufacturing center, we are planning of using 3rd parties to make and package our solution(s), and to assemble our product(s). This is a direct to consumer model today, one day we would like to access the retail sales points.
There are a bunch of small formula issues which most likely came from my basic formula skills. I built the model to run off a set of assumptions (which are always in blue), I then build 2 sheets which represent 2 separate business lines (slightly different products for different sized trucks but run on the same solution) It is these sheets that need the most help. with the right sophistication Iām sure they could be combined into one sheet. Otherwise, I have certain expenses / costs in the wrong areas and I would like to account for inventory and IP assets (such as tool and dye). I would like to account for taxes (sales, federal and state), depreciation and amortization. The income and operating Statement needs help and cleaned up and I would like to account for invested capital (both debt and equity), I have started to build it out but I ran into issues.
Please let me know if you are interested in the project, and I can share my spreadsheet with you.
Thank you Jonathan
