I am seeking an adept freelancer to develop an excel spreadsheet or software program tailored to manage a significant size handball tournament. With up to 400 players anticipated, the tool should be able to handle extensive data and optimize the knockout stages accordingly.
Key Features Required:
- Efficient Management: The program should effectively handle participants' management, coordinate matches, and track progress.
- Scalability: Designed to cater for a substantial number of players. An ability to manage a minimum of 200 and potentially up to 400 players is paramount.
- User Friendly: The design of the program must be user-friendly and easy to use for individuals with basic IT proficiency.
- Once the names list is imported, the names are randomised and placed into groups.
- The names than are blocked on the groups with inputs of winner required to move names to the next rounds.
Ideal Candidate Characteristics:
- Proficient in Sports Scheduling Algorithms: You should demonstrate a deep understanding of sports competition structures and scheduling.
- Excel Whiz: As the tool might be developed as an excel spreadsheet, excellent excel skills are required.
- Experience with Custom Software Solutions: Applicants who have previously developed custom tournament, league, or sports management solutions will be given preference.
