Greater Boston Residential Properties Database Creation

We are seeking an experienced freelancer to build a detailed database of residential properties in the Greater Boston area that match specific criteria. This project involves both data collection and geospatial visualization.

Scope of Work

We’re looking for properties that meet as many of the following criteria as possible:

– Located within a 30-minute drive of Quincy, MA (with additional tabs for 1-hour and 2-hour drive-time zones)
– Single-family residences
– Built in 1950 or later
– Owner-occupied
– Includes a basement
– Built on a concrete foundation

Deliverables

– A spreadsheet or database that includes owner name, full property address, year built, property type, presence of basement and foundation type (if available), and approximate property value
– Bonus: Owner phone number or email, if obtainable through public records or third-party data sources
– A heat map or visual representation showing the geographic distribution of these properties

Ideal Candidate

– Experienced in sourcing real estate data using public records or platforms like ATTOM, PropertyRadar, Melissa, or Regrid
– Skilled in building and organizing databases using Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools
– Proficient in GIS software (such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or Mapbox) for creating visual heat maps
– Highly detail-oriented and able to work independently
