Google Sheets Specialist, complex formula

I need a formula for the following.
First Column has hundreds of random numbers (one no. per row)
Second column then has to calculate, based on the no. in column 1 as follows from the logic:
If the no. in col 1 is 1 -> no. in col 2 is also 1
If the no. in col 1 is 2 -> no. in col 2 is 2.02
If the no. in col 1 is 3 -> no. in col 2 is 2.06
So it kind of scales by 0.02 with each higher number.
For ex. if the no in col 1 is 458, the no. in col 2 is 2551.06
