Google Sheets Advanced Formatting

I am seeking a highly-skilled freelancer to help format a Google Sheet I am using to track my work hours/ Specifically, I am looking for someone who is proficient in using conditional formatting. I have times on the y-axis of my spreadsheet, ranging from 8:00 AM to 2:00 AM, and dates of the month on the x-axis frozen atop my spreadsheet. I enter the hours I worked with regard to the time and day. If I work a 2-hour shift at 4 pm on May 6th, I put, in a cell two cells before 4 pm in the column that says May 6 at the top, "UP (2.00 h)", which means 2 hours unpaid. I then highlight from the cell parallel to 4 pm to the cell parallel to 6 pm a colour, and put two cells under the 6 pm the total I earned from those hours. I want to be able to enter the hours I worked, "UP (2.00 h)", and have it automatically highlight the cells proportionate to the number of hours I worked, and, two cells underneath this, the amount I earned from working that shift. I will provide all the details necessary such as my hourly wage and whatnot you would need to complete this task. Because the earnings and highlighting are directly proportionate to the number of hours I worked, I figure this is possible, but beyond my spreadsheet skills, which are actually pretty good as you'll see in my spreadsheet once I share it with you.

Successful applications should include detailed project proposals and past work/experience related to similar tasks. A deep understanding of budget tracking in Google Sheets will be a definite benefit.
