Golf Spreadsheet

I am a high school golf coach that is trying to create a spreadsheet that summarizes various aspects of one's round and performance. Task 1: I can handle the simple stuff but need help with more complex functions such as IF, THEN formulas and computations. The results from these formulas will be a numerical value that takes a condition, such as green hit in regulation, then determines the number of putts on that green and then divides the number of putts by the number of greens hit in regulation for a numerical result. Task 2: I would like to summarize the number of eagles, birdies, pars bogeys and double bogeys per round.
