Gabbi Tuft - MyFitnessPal
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I have an online personal fitness coaching business where I use the MyFitnessPal (MFP) app to track my customer's nutrition. I am currently having them manually enter their daily summary into a Google Document but it has become very tedious.
User's can export the MFP nutrition and measurements data to a CSV file. I need to find a solution where this data can be:
-Uploaded to a Google Drive Folder specific to each client and then have a template Google Sheet that will do the following:
-Extract the MFP to a separate Google Sheet that acts as an "At a glance" sheet for my analysis
-Filters MFP summary data for a specific date range (typically the previous week).
-Summarizes the total number of protein, carbs, and fats in grams per day and then displays how far away from my recommended number of protein, carbs, and fats they are (+/-)
-Provides a total number of calories per day and compares the difference (similar to last item)
Other items:
I currently ask each client to weigh in on a smart scale once per week and then I use a pivot table to display their data so I can see the total +/- per week, month, or any time frame that I select. I'd like to have this summarized as well on the "at a glance" sheet we would be creating.
MFP exports a separate file for exercise. I would like to have:
-their total number of days where they did cardio summarized. So, if they did cardio 4 times in a week, I'd like that total number of days displayed for me so I can compare to my recommendations.
-Total number of minutes of cardio they did for each session that week compared to y recommendation.
I also have a separate tracking sheet I use currently for the client. My goal is to largely simplify this using the results from above. However, I do need to pull their body composition data for the current week and compare any changes. I need to do the same with their measurements tab. I typically adjust these to show me 7-days, 14-days, 30, days, 60 days, 90 days, and all time.
I've attached the three files I use all the time for each client.
The template for calculated macros is my Excel file I use that has all of my formulas in it. Once uploaded to a Google Drive folder for the client, and the URL is copied, I can then paste it in the "Admin" tab of the Macro tracking google sheet. This populates that document.
The check-ins file can be linked to the Macro tracking google sheet URL and the data is imported based on what tab is referenced. This is my current "At a glance" dashboard.
It's very messy which is why I need this consolidated.
Thank you!
