About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented freelance stock analyst to assist with equity research and analysis based on specific criteria. You’ll act as the execution arm for a strategy-driven process, following step-by-step instructions provided by me to identify, filter, and evaluate stocks using various tools and resources.
What You’ll Do
• Conduct equity research based on criteria and strategies I provide.
• Use tools like Bloomberg, Yahoo Finance, TradingView, or any specified platforms for data gathering and analysis.
• Compile reports and summaries of your findings.
• Generate charts, graphs, or data visualizations as needed.
• Maintain organized documentation of your research process and results.
• Provide insights or commentary based on the data, where applicable.
What I’ll Provide
• Detailed step-by-step instructions for each task or project.
• Guidance on methodology and tools to use.
• Feedback to refine the process and expectations.
What You Bring
• Strong experience with stock market analysis and financial tools.
• Familiarity with financial metrics like P/E, EPS, ROE, and others.
• Proficiency with platforms like Excel, TradingView, or other data analysis tools.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new tools or workflows.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work consistently.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience in financial research or investment analysis.
• Knowledge of fundamental and/or technical analysis.
• CFA or similar certifications are a plus (but not required).
Compensation
Competitive hourly/project-based rate, commensurate with experience.
