Construction Estimator (UK-Focused) – Ongoing Projects Using PriceAJob

We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented construction estimator to support our growing residential construction and renovation business. Projects typically range from £50k to £500k, with a mix of residential, light commercial, and industrial work.

Scope of Work:

Full Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for client proposals

Regular estimates (1–2 per week), plus one-off quotes and amendments

Must be confident in take-offs from PDF drawings

Able to produce clean, easy-to-read exports for client-facing documents

Tools & Workflow:

Our preferred platform is PriceAJob, so experience here is a big plus

Familiarity with BuilderTrend and Excel is also helpful

Exports should be client-ready — we’ll integrate them into our branded proposals

You’ll receive a brief/handover at the start, and we’ll debrief once estimates are complete

Ideal Candidate:

Experience estimating UK residential construction projects

Good understanding of UK building regulations and common practices

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Based anywhere — time zone isn’t critical

Timeframe & Budget:

Ideal turnaround: within a week per estimate, sooner where possible

Open to retainer arrangements or per-estimate pricing
