Exterior Cladding Estimating & Takeoffs
Budget: $18 – $25 CAD
I need a detail-minded estimator to handle all Division 7 exterior cladding scopes on an ongoing basis. My workload covers both new construction and renovation, and the sites range from residential homes to large commercial and industrial buildings. Typical façades include metal panels, ACM panel systems, fiber-cement boards and any other exterior cladding the drawings specify, so the ability to read diverse plan sets is essential.
Here’s what every assignment involves:
• Produce digital quantity takeoffs directly from the PDFs I supply.
• Break each elevation down by material, flashing, trims, fasteners and accessories.
• Deliver an Excel file that summarises square footage/linear footage and labour hours, ready for me to drop into my bid template.
Accuracy within ±2 % of plan dimensions and clear notes on any assumptions are the acceptance criteria. A three-to-five-day turnaround after receiving drawings is typical.
