I'm seeking a skilled professional to enhance our logistics and route planning in the express transport sector. The key areas of focus are:
Project OverviewDuration: 6 months (tender period)Location: Primarily remote, with the possibility of occasional face-to-face meetings in Paris
Key ResponsibilitiesClean and consolidate large datasets of transportation shipment volumes and financial recordsStructure and format data in Excel for analysis and reportingSimulate baseline volumes and prepare clean data files for tender distributionAnalyze and compare RFQ offers, simulate scenarios, and support evaluation and decision-makingCreate an online dashboard to:Display round-by-round RFQ resultsCompare supplier performance and pricingModel different tender scenarios for strategic evaluationManage complex datasets: 2,000+ Excel sheets across 600+ accounts in the EMEA region
Required Skills & ExperienceStrong experience in data collection, cleaning, and structuringMandatory background in the transportation industry, especially in express transportation invoicing, post audits, or tender processesAdvanced proficiency in Excel (Power Query, PivotTables, data modeling, etc.)Experience with dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) for dynamic data visualizationExcellent analytical skills and attention to detail, especially when working with large and complex datasets
