Excel tool to protect and sell license.
Budget: $100 – $300 AUD
I have an Excel tool to protect and sell license. It is in xlsb extension.
It is intended to be used on window environment only. The system you will design should meet the following deliverables:
1. Able to identify the computer where the excel document is going to be used and display the computer ID to its user to copy it and send back to me.
2. Once pc id is received back it will be embedded in the excel document for recognition later on
3. Produce an Excel key generator that I’ll manage and issue an activation code for each excel file sent out to customers with expire date set by me ( 1, 12, 24 and 36 month license options)
4. Keep track of computer ID activation codes were issued to in an excel database format (Customer, computer ID, key delivered, date activation code issued, expire date)
5. Users should be able to install it to the computer identified using the activation code which will be sent separately. It is not to work on a different computer.
6. Must allow the already active Macro to create a copy of the file with some tabs with values only. This must be a copy can then be used by the others as xls file without restrictions, as it contains only values.
7. I must be able to generate the keys and send to customers for license renewal, using the already identified computer.
8. Formulas and VBA codes to be protected, invisible or some similar solution.
9. Able to archive multiple copies that can be read but not used/changed/copied after key expire
10. It will have a daily message generation on excel, once it gets to 7-10 days before expiring, reminding user of license expiring soon and inviting user to renew it by contacting by email.
