Excel pivot table reporting

I need support in creating a report using pivot tables. The excel database is 1,100 rows long and and 27 columns. I would live to keep the pivot table or macros to then do my own what-if analysis. It is a list of problems with problem tasks. I need to create a report using pivot tables to extract by: - Tech Leader - Assignment group Group by - Problem number - problem tasks - state of problem tasks open or closed - date since they were last touched
