Excel function or VBA code needed that splits data and transpose cell to rows

I am looking for a skilled freelancer who can develop an Excel function or a VBA code for an excel file with 675 lines.
The rows contain multiple columns but I only need to focus on one column that has multiple data separated by | symbol. The code should be able to split the data at the | symbol and then transpose these new cells to new rows. But here is the important part, when doing the transpose, I need to push down all the other rows, so that the data doesn't get overwritten by these newly created rows.
