Excel database with PDF links - compare two files to make final list

I have two Excel files. There are links to a site with presentations.
I need someone who understands Excel and can check links of images quickly to then combine to make a final list.
I fired an analyst, then the other got pregnant. I'm guessing what the last files are which of course is pain in the bum. I saw what I was given missed rows from another file so have to figure out wtf is going on and combine.
I can do but I have a lot to work on. There are columns of data I would ideally like spot checked (industry codes etc).
I will hire quickly. There is no urgent deadline and accuracy matters.
