Excel calculator

I want to help create an in-house finance calculator. It will show how much potential profit for the year. and break it down between months days weeks and hours. I would have the ability to see a calendar and calculations to see if we are on task or the quota has been met. So an up-to-date calendar would be appreciated Graphs will also be needed to visualize the true potential of the calculator.

Excel seems the most feasible for this project but if anyone knows of another way to navigate through another software let me know and I will research to see if its the right fit for us
