I am a business owner with an eCommerce start up a marketplace that has been live for 11 months. I need a numbers guy with a really sharp pencil, you are bright, business interests you, you can read and translate numbers - ideally, you get Excel like a concert pianist.
I have created an excel spreadsheet with multiple worksheets that manage our 5-year projections (11 months actual, the rest projected). It also has our KPI's, our sales, commission structures. It also has our CAC, TAM, and dilution of the company - for understandable reasons I am not sharing it until I have found the person I want to work with. I would estimate that this would take an expert no longer than 4 hours - bearing in mind the original spreadsheet has all the data you need.
You'd be working directly with me, I am the founder. Your English needs to be really good. I don't expect a quote, just give me an insight into why you would be great for the project, what experience do you have in start up's, did you do a business degree, what qualifications do you have in excel, have you worked on business forecasts before, do you have good experience in analytics, that kind of thing.
That file has been developed over a year, it's not as clean as it could be. Some of the formulas don't always track through, eventually, I would like to model those predictions based on sales as we grow. I'd like to really explore our customer acquisition costs through the advertising we have already done. So having an understanding of CAC through digital advertising would be important.
