Excel Web Automation & Field App
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need two tightly-connected pieces of software:
1) A small service that watches an Excel workbook containing mixed text and numeric columns, then continuously pushes each new row into our internal company website exactly as a user would. At the moment I’m not sure whether we can obtain a formal API, so please assume the script may have to drive the existing HTML forms (Selenium, Playwright or similar is fine) and loop indefinitely without losing speed or accuracy.
2) A simple companion system for our sales team: a lightweight mobile-friendly app plus a web dashboard where they log daily field findings against a predefined customer database. The data they enter should flow straight into the same back-end used by the Excel automation so management can see a single, up-to-date view.
Deliverables
• Headless automation that reads the Excel file, validates the mixed data, and submits it to the internal site in real time.
• Responsive web app (and Android/iOS wrapper if you favour React Native or Flutter) for reps to capture visits, notes and photos.
• Central database and admin dashboard to review, export or correct entries.
• Installation guide and short hand-over session so we can run and maintain everything on our own server.
Acceptance criteria
• 100 % of rows in a sample 5,000-line sheet are posted to the site with no manual intervention.
• Field reps can add, edit and sync reports offline and online.
• All timestamps, user IDs and customer IDs are stored consistently and visible in the dashboard.
If you have suggestions on better handling the lack of an API, or proven experience scripting Excel-to-web data flows at scale, I’d love to hear your approach along with an estimated timeline.
