Excel Tool for ASX Historical Data
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I'm seeking an Excel programmer who can create a tool for me to download 5 years of historical data from Yahoo Finance for ASX stocks.
Key Requirements:
- The data should be downloaded in daily increments.
- Whenever new data is being fetched, the old data should be erased and overwritten.
- All data should be saved in a worksheet labelled "rawdata" within the workbook.
- The tool should allow for manual input of stock codes in a designated cell.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in Excel programming and VBA.
- Familiarity with Yahoo Finance's data structure.
- Previous experience in creating similar data extraction tools will be highly regarded.
Please note, I do not require any additional data processing or calculations post download. The primary focus is on the seamless downloading of data.
