I have a file of single-category survey responses that needs to be slotted into a pre-formatted Excel worksheet so each number lands in its exact cell. Alongside the transfer, every value has to be validated to make sure it falls within the range I’ll provide (e.g., rating scales of 1-5).
A simple, repeatable solution is all I’m after—whether that’s a quick VBA macro, a tidy Power Query step, or another lightweight approach that keeps the workbook clean. Once the job is done I’d like the finished worksheet back, plus the underlying steps or code so I can rerun the process whenever new responses arrive.
