Excel Quote Template Development
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I'm looking to create a comprehensive Excel spreadsheet template with macros, active control options, and bar charts for my company. This template will be used for quoting custom gages ( Fixed Limit Gages)
The project will involve:
- Creating macros to automate calculations, generate custom quotes, and handle data validation and cleanup.
- Designing the template to input various types of data including customer information, product specifications, pricing details, and delivery information.
- Incorporating bar charts for price/time comparisons.
Ideal skills for this job include:
- Advanced Excel expertise, particularly in creating and implementing macros.
- Experience with data validation and cleanup in Excel.
- Ability to design user-friendly, efficient spreadsheet templates.
- Understanding of how to incorporate and interpret bar charts within a spreadsheet context.
Here is the basic work flow of the deliverable I am looking for
1.) Various gages are entered into the master Excel file from the customers request for quote
2.) A list is vendors are selected by gage ( line item by line item )
3.) An RFQ email is sent to each vender selected directly from the master spreadsheet. If more than 1 gage has the same selected vendor, the email will have all the gages on 1 email
4.) the pricing from the vendors will be entered into the master worksheet
5.) there will be options to sort the data within the various vendors to sort the data by price or by delivery
6.) we will select the best option to quote the customer, and will draft a formal quote and attack an active copy of the worksheet to the quote give them the ability to sort the data by price or delivery showing them not only text but graphical representation. The costs from the vendors will be locked to the customer
