Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented freelancer to help us create a comprehensive Excel database comparing prices of approximately 2,000 products from Wickes, Selco, and Screwfix websites. This data will be used for competitive pricing analysis and shelf label creation for our retail store.
Tasks:
1. Research and extract prices of around 2,000 specified products from the websites of:
Wickes
Selco
Screwfix
2. Input and organize the data into a structured Excel sheet with columns like:
Product Name
Our Product Code (will be provided)
Wickes Price
Selco Price
Screwfix Price
Cheapest Supplier
Notes (if any)
3. Once data collection is done, design shelf labels in Excel for each product with essential info (e.g., product name, price, barcode/our code, etc.)
Requirements:
Must use Microsoft Excel only (no other tools or formats)
Must be experienced in web research and accurate data entry
Must be able to create clean, professional-looking shelf labels in Excel
Attention to detail is critical — pricing errors can affect profitability
Deliverables:
One Excel file with the full product price comparison
One Excel file (or tab) with shelf labels for all products
