I’m working with an anonymised dataset of patient records and need a clean, reproducible Excel workbook that delivers clear descriptive insights. Specifically, I want to see:
• Mean and median for each continuous variable (e.g., age, length-of-stay, lab values).
• Frequency counts for every categorical field (diagnosis codes, medication flags, discharge status, etc.).
Please structure the workbook so these figures update automatically when new rows are added. A dedicated “Summary” sheet that pulls the results via pivot tables, dynamic arrays, or well-labelled formulas will make review easy. Brief, inline comments or a short read-me tab explaining the logic you used will be appreciated. Accuracy and transparency are key—I should be able to audit a value back to its source cell in one click.
