Excel Macro - personal Macro
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a workbook with 5 tabs. An original workbook is generated each time a Cold Form Steel file is by our FrameCAD application each time a design is completed for a particular home. Next step is to modify the workbook by adding columns to extract detail in each row (up to 6000 rows) and then summarizing the detail to produce totals. In two of the sheets, we summarize total weight of metal vs total board feet. Then we add a new sheet that is a summary. In this sheet we pull weight and board feet totals from each of the two sheets: Plan Material Summary and Sticks.
We have written a Macro that does this. Works perfectly. WE NEED A MACRO THAT WILL TRAVEL WITH THE ORIGINAL TEMPLATE AND WORK WITH ALL NEW WORKBOOKS that we produce to match the template but with new data.
I think this is a personal Macro and we don’t know how to make this Macro and have it travel with the template workbook so that individuals that work in other offices can use that "Personal Macro" to update each new modified workbook.
