I need a skilled Excel/Google Sheets wizard to create a comprehensive tool for tracking operating expenses. Our primary focus is on monitoring our operational expenditure in a concise, easy-to-use spreadsheet format.
Ideal skills for the job would include:
- Proficient understanding of Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience in building financial tracking and forecasting tools.
- Great attention to detail.
- Good understanding of operating expenses categorization.
Your task will be:
-Develop a user-friendly dashboard for inputting expenses, including options for date selection, currency selection (USD, GBP, EURO), recurring expenses (monthly/yearly), tags (e.g., marketing, operating), description, and notes.
-Design and implement a dynamic dashboard that displays year-to-date (YTD) expenses, profit and loss (PNL), expense growth over periods, PNL growth over periods, and expenses per tag (monthly and yearly).
-Utilize currency conversion to forecast future expenses in USD, GBP, and EURO, using today's rates (with a disclaimer). Ensure the dashboard displays the forecasted expenses in all three currencies.
-Implement a feature to import expenses or income from CSV files, with support for different formats depending on the contents of the CSV.
-Track expenses and income month by month, sorted by date, and include all necessary data for calculations.
-Provide a monthly summary feature that shows expenses by category, expenses in USD, GBP, and EURO, and monthly PNL in all three currencies. Additionally, displays expense growth over the month and PNL growth over the month.
